A biome is a large geographic region defined by specific climatic and ecological characteristics that shape the types of plants and animals found within them. Biomes are classified based on factors such as temperature, precipitation, soil type, and the types of organisms found in those areas.
Some of the major geographic biomes include:
Tropical Rainforest
Savanna
Desert
Temperate Forest
Grassland
Tundra
Taiga
Biomes are important for understanding ecological functions, biodiversity, and how climate change impacts regions.

During my last visit to the museum with Olivia, we identified areas of the gallery display that would benefit from being updated. One notable area was the information boards that explain the dioramas. Upon reviewing the current boards, we found that the information presented did not accurately represent the dioramas or the biomes they depict.
Over the past week, I have been researching how to better represent the dioramas in the gallery, focusing on the species found in each region and identifying interesting facts that the audience would appreciate learning about in each biome.

The gallery display features four different biomes, each highlighting the prevalent threats in those regions. I aim to emphasise these threats in my illustrations, particularly the impact of climate change on wildlife. As a strong advocate for conservation and the protection of our natural world, I hope that by conveying this information through my illustrations, I can help raise awareness about these critical issues.
